The new and improved Agra Outjo branch officially relaunched on Thursday, 25 August 2022. Along with the new building, Agra Outjo also now offers a wider range of products.

The new and improved Agra Outjo branch officially relaunched on Thursday, 25 August 2022. Along with the new building, Agra Outjo also now offers a wider range of products.The development now consists of a 1 158 m2 retail branch with a 231 m2 mezzanine floor, which replaces the original 394 m2 retail area. The branch boasts a new Feedstore of 803 m2 and there is an additional 567 m2 warehouse. Furthermore, the branch has a salt shed (132 m2) and a container roof structure (150 m2.) This development was done at a total cost of just over N$ 18,7 million (excl. VAT.)

In any developing country, it is imperative that the top businesses reinvest back into the local economy. Not only to stimulate micro economies at a community level, but also to provide critical access to essential products and services in rural areas. According to Henning Tiemann, General Manager Agra Properties, “Agra believes in Namibia, we believe in agriculture and we believe in showing that we are committed to the greater community through brick & mortar investment.”

The branch relaunch offered special promotions and prizes to the Outjo community, as well as an opportunity for customers to interact with suppliers and Agra staff. Many of Agra’s senior management attended the launch, including Agra CEO, Arnold Klein.
