The successful incumbent will be based in Swakopmund & Walvis Bay.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Serve as a brand ambassador, demonstrating loyalty to our products and promoting them both in-store and at various outdoor events.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice and product recommendations on firearms, ammunition and outdoor gear.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly gross profit targets by driving sales and maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Participate in and represent the company at outdoor events, such as shooting competitions, hunting expos, and other community activities, often on weekends.
• Provide product demonstrations, educate customers on the safe use, maintenance, and handling of firearms and outdoor equipment, and foster a culture of safety and responsibility.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and promote brand loyalty.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends, product offerings, and safety regulations to ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date information.
• Ensure compliance with firearms regulations and company policies.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise to ensure optimal store presentation.
• Collaborate with the team to create sales strategies, promotional activities and store events that align with business goals.

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Namibian citizenship
• Grade 11 (New curriculum) or Grade 12 (Old curriculum)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant retail related experience
• A valid Code B driver’s license
• Proficiency in English
• Computer literacy (MS Office; Enterprise Resource Planning system experience an added advantage)
• Product knowledge (Arms, Ammo, Camping & Outdoor)  is strongly required
