Agra strengthens northern presence with new Oshakati branch, 25 September 2026.

Agra Limited proudly opened the doors of its new Oshakati branch on Friday, 25 September 2026, marking another important milestone in the company’s continued expansion and commitment to serving communities across Namibia.

The new branch strengthens Agra’s presence in northern Namibia and brings its products, services and trusted agricultural expertise closer to farmers, businesses and customers in Oshakati and surrounding areas.

The official opening brought together Agra representatives, suppliers and invited members of the Oshakati community and town to celebrate the milestone and experience the new store firsthand. Guests were welcomed to explore the branch and its extensive product offering, while supplier exhibitions, a Kapana braai, opening activities and a live broadcast by Omalunga Radio contributed to the occasion.

The Oshakati branch offers a diverse range of products, including agricultural implements, feeds and licks, animal health products, personal protective equipment (PPE) and clothing, groceries, fresh and chilled produce, alcoholic beverages and other everyday essentials.

Leading the new branch is Branch Manager Mamelody Kaluvi, together with a team committed to providing professional service, trusted advice and building lasting relationships with customers and the wider community.

Investing in the Oshakati community

Agra’s investment in Oshakati extends beyond its new retail presence. As part of Agra’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) commitment to community upliftment through education, Agra ProVision, the company’s professional agricultural training division, will host a free Farmers’ Information Day on 9 October 2026, focusing on an introduction to free-range poultry. Through the new Oshakati branch, Agra is investing not only in its national footprint, but also in local employment, economic activity, agricultural development and the communities it serves.

Agra looks forward to becoming an active and valued member of the Oshakati community, building strong relationships with farmers, customers and stakeholders while continuing its purpose of creating a better life for everyone we serve.
