This course will provide practical information and skills on the different types of composting methods, including vermi-composting, building a worm farm, brewing compost tea and worm tea, as well as materials to add to the compost heap and materials to avoid. Additionally, content on the different methods of biochar production, biochar influence on soil, biochar soil application and how to harvest bushes sustainably for biochar production will be discussed.
